ESO 2 & 3 students went on a school trip to Gibraltar on 17th June. For many of them it was the first time they left Spain and went
abroad. Our visit started in Grand Casemates Square, then we
walked up Main street and visited Trafalgar Cemetery. After a
typical English lunch we went ice skating: it was serious fun!
For some of the students it was their first contact with a winter sport.
After a healthy hour of sport it was time to go to the top of the rock by cable
car in order to meet the famous apes and enjoy the spectacular views
over the Strait. Even though some of the students had "bad
encounters" with the monkeys the experience was really worth it.
All in all, a very tiring yet satisfying activity. Pedro Espinosa will go back
to the Rock next year.
